 d to launch SAIFA Talks\, a new webinar series that explores emerging tec
 hnologies\, innovative applications\, and the latest advances in artificia
 l intelligence.\n\nThe series aims to bring together researchers\, industr
 y professionals\, technology developers\, and AI enthusiasts to exchange k
 nowledge\, share practical experience\, and explore opportunities for coll
 aboration across the Serbian and European AI ecosystems.\n\nThe inaugural 
 webinar will explore how the evolution of 6G networks\, artificial intelli
 gence\, and edge-cloud computing is transforming robotics by enabling inte
 lligent machines to operate in interconnected computing environments. It w
 ill be presented by Prof. Dr. Dejan Vukobratović from the Faculty of Tech
 nical Sciences at the University of Novi Sad and the Institute for Artifi
 cial Intelligence Research and Development of Serbia on 23 Oct 2026 at 15
 :00 CEST. \n\nAs robotic systems become increasingly intelligent and conn
 ected\, computational tasks can be distributed among robots\, edge infrast
 ructure\, and cloud platforms. This approach creates new opportunities for
  advanced robotic applications while introducing challenges in communicati
 on\, computation\, and real-time decision-making.\n\nThe webinar will pres
 ent research and development activities conducted at the Institute for Ar
 tificial Intelligence Research and Development of Serbia\, focusing on two
  practical use cases:\n\n\n	Connected Robotic Workcell: A static robotic s
 cenario demonstrating the integration of robotics\, connectivity\, and dis
 tributed computation.\n	Connected Edge Localization and Mapping (SLAM): A 
 mobile robotic scenario exploring how edge computing supports localization
  and mapping tasks.\n\n\nParticipants will learn how modern approaches to 
 task-oriented semantic data processing can address these challenges and ga
 in insights into proof-of-concept demonstrators developed by the research
