DESCRIPTION:The Joint HPC training organized by HP-SEE\, LinkSCEEM-2 and P
 RACE\, will gather scientists from the wide spectrum of fields this July i
 n Athens\, Greece.The training  aims to enhance the knowledge of current 
 HPC users\, and to engage new user communities in the use of HPC infrastru
 cture. It will take place from 13th to 15th of July 2011 at the training C
 enter of the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE Academy) in Ath
 ens\, Greece.The content consists of lectures and hands-on sessions in the
  field of HPC usage for multi-disciplinary scientific research communities
  with the focus on parallel programming methods\, performance analysis too
 ls and code optimization. The lectures will be given by accredited PRACE\,
  HP-SEE and LinkSCEEM trainers and experts in the HPC field.RegistrationRe
 gistration is open until 01 June 2011.The registration form is available h
 ere.Important Note: Participants affiliated to the LinkSceem2 project must
  register via the dedicated registration form available here.It is recomme
 nded that participants bring their own laptops for the hands-on sessions s
 ince training facilities does not provide PCs. Participants are also encou
 raged to work in teams of two.The school can host up to 60 participants. S
 election of participants will be based on their qualifications as declared
  in the registration form while extra care will be given so that participa
 nts from the regions of South Eastern Europe and Mediterranean countries t
 hat organise the school have the opportunity to attend the school.Notifica
 tion of acceptance to the training will be given to students no later than
  the 10th of June 2011.ProgrammeThe training programme is under developmen
