DESCRIPTION:Presentation\n\nDr. Antun Balaz is an Associate Research Profe
 ssor at the Institute of Physics Belgrade. His research interests are rela
 ted to the functional formalism in quantum theory and its application to s
 tudies of ultra-cold quantum gases\, including the phenomenon of Bose-Eins
 tein condensation and effects of interaction and disorder. In his research
 \, he makes extensive use of numerical methods such as Path Integral Monte
  Carlo and exact diagonalization. Dr. Antun Balaz is technical coordinator
  of Academic and Educational Grid Initiative of Serbia (AEGIS)\, and techn
 ical director-designate of the Blue Danube National Supercomputing Center.
  Dr. Balaz was Grid operations leader in SEE-GRID-2 and SEE-GRID-SCI proje
 cts\, and currently coordinates Serbian participation in EGI and PRACE ini
