DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Miklos Kozlovszky (OU)\nLarge-scale high performance
systems have significant amount of processing power. HP-SEE's HPC/Superco
mputing infrastructure is geologically distributed\, and provide 24/7\, la
rge scale\, high performance computing services primarily for various high
-end research communities thus such system can be categorized as critical
regional/national infrastructure. System features such as non-stop availab
ility\, large scale processing power and community based usage make such i
nfrastructure vulnerable against malicious attacks. In order to decrease t
he menace\, we designed the Advanced Vulnerability Assessment Tool for HPC
/supercomputing Systems. We propose the implementation of the tool that ar
e integrated to the HP-SEE infrastructure. Our vulnerability assessment so
ftware can submit jobs into the HP-SEE infrastructure and run vulnerabilit
y assessment on the components of the infrastructure. The decentralized Se
curity Monitor collects and stores the results from the components and mak
es them available via a web interface for the local/regional administrator
 s. We tested our solution from reliability and from performance point of v
 iew as well.\n\nhttps://events.saifa.rs/event/291/contributions/161/
