DESCRIPTION:Speakers: David Blaschke (University of Wroclaw)\nWe describe
multiquark clusters in quark matter within a Beth-Uhlenbeck approach in a
background gluon field that is coupled to the underlying chiral quark dyna
mics using the Polyakov-gauge and an effective potential for the traced Po
lyakov-loop. A higher multiquark cluster of size n is described as a binar
 y composite of smaller subclusters n1 and n2 (n1+n2=n ) with a bound state
and scattering state spectrum. For the corresponding cluster-cluster phas
e shifts we use two simple ansätze that capture the Mott dissociation of
quark clusters as a function of temperature and chemical potential\, the s
oft deconfinement. We compare the simple ""step-up-step-down"" model that
ignores continuum correlations with an improved model contains them in a g
eneric form. In order to explain the model\, we restrict ourselves here to
the cases where 1≤n≤6. A striking result is the suppression of the ab
undance of colored multiquark clusters at low temperatures by the coupling
to the Polyakov loop. This is understood in close analogy to the suppress
ion of quark distributions by the same mechanism and we derive here the co
rresponding Polyakov-loop generalized distribution functions of n-quark cl
usters. For a successful comparison with lattice QCD thermodynamics it is
important to include perturbative QCD contributions\, the hard thermal loo

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Aritra Bandyopadhyay (Heidelberg University)\nThe he
avy quark momentum diffusion coefficient (𝜅) is one of the most importa
nt ingredients for the Langevin description of the heavy quark dynamics. I
n the temperature regime relevant for the heavy ion collision phenomenolog
y\, there exists a substantial difference between the lattice estimations
of 𝜅 and the corresponding leading order (LO) result from the hard ther
mal loop (HTL) perturbation theory. Moreover\, the indication of poor conv
ergence in the next-to-leading order (NLO) perturbative analysis has motiv
ated the development of several approaches to incorporate the non-perturba
tive effects in the heavy quark phenomenology. In this work [1]\, we estim
ate the heavy quark diffusion coefficient based on the Gribov-Zwanziger pr
escription. In this framework\, the gluon propagator\, depends on the temp
erature dependent Gribov mass parameter which has been obtained self consi
stently from the one loop gap equation. Incorporating this modified gluon
propagator in the leading order analysis\, we\nfind a reasonable agreement
with the existing lattice estimations of 𝜅 within the model uncertaint

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Shanshan Cao ()\nHeavy quarks serve as a clean probe
of the color-deconfined QGP matter produced in relativistic heavy-ion col
lisions. We develop a unified perturbative and non-perturbative Boltzmann
transport model for studying the elastic and inelastic scatterings of heav
y quarks inside the QGP. A generalized Cornell-type potential is implement
ed\, which incorporates both the short-range Yukawa interaction and the lo
ng-range color confining interaction. By combining this new approach to a
(3+1)-dimensional viscous hydrodynamic model for the QGP evolution and a h
ybrid fragmentation-coalescence model for heavy quark hadronization\, we o
btain a satisfactory description of nuclear modification of heavy flavor o
bservables from low to intermediate to high transverse momenta. From the m
odel-to-data comparison\, we extract the in-medium heavy quark potential f
rom open heavy flavor observables for the first time\, which is shown in a
greement with the lattice QCD calculation. And by combining this Boltzmann
transport model with a quasi-particle description of the QGP\, we perform
a first extraction of the Equation of State of the QGP using the open hea

 well.\n\nhttps://events.saifa.rs/event/554/contributions/406/

h-energy lead-lead collisions is studied through their multiparticle corre
lations. The elliptic anisotropy harmonic values based on different orders
of multiparticle cumulants\, v2{2k}\, are measured up to the tenth order
(k = 5) as functions of the collision centrality at a nucleon-nucleon cent
er-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV. The data were obtained by the CMS experimen
t at the LHC with an integrated luminosity of 0.607 nb-1.\nA fine splittin
 g is observed between the coefficients\, with v2{2} > v2{4}≳ v2{6} ≳ v
2{8} ≳ v2{10}. The subtle differences in the higher-order cumulants allo
w for a precise determination of the underlying hydrodynamics. Based on th

 t-by-event v2 distribution are determined\, including the skewness\, the k

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Iurii Karpenko (Czech Technical University in Prague
)\nWe present a new model for jet quenching from coherent radiation in a b
rick medium. The jet energy loss is simulated as a perturbative final-stat
e vacuum parton shower followed by a medium-induced shower originating fro
m elastic and radiative collisions with the medium constituents. Coherency
is achieved by starting with trial gluons that acts as field dressing of
the initial jet parton. These are formed according to a Gunion-Bertsch see
 d. The QCD version of the LPM effect is attained by increasing the phase o
f the trial gluons through elastic scatterings with the medium. Above a ph
ase threshold\, the trial gluon will be realised and can produce coherent
radiation themselves.\nThe model has been implemented in a Monte Carlo cod
e and has been validated by successfully reproducing the BDMPS-Z predictio
n for the energy spectrum. The realistic case with minimal assumptions are
  also produced and shown.\n\nhttps://events.saifa.rs/event/554/contributio

network for estimating elliptic flow (v2) coefficients in heavy-ion colli
sions have shown us the prediction power of this technique. The success of
the model is mainly the estimation of v2 from final state particle kinema
tic information and learning the centrality and the transverse momentum (p
 T) dependence of v2. The deep learning model is trained with Pb-Pb collisi
ons at 5.02 TeV minimum bias events simulated with a multiphase transport
model (AMPT). We extend this work to estimate v2 for light-flavor identifi
ed particles such as π±π±\, K±K±\, and p+pˉp+pˉ in heavy-ion colli
sions at RHIC and LHC energies. The number of constituent quark (NCQ) scal
ing is also shown. The evolution of pT-crossing point of v2(pT)\, depictin
g a change in meson- baryon elliptic flow at intermediate-pT\, is studied
for various collision systems and energies. The model is further evaluated
by training it for different pT regions. These results are compared with

The statistical hadronization model is very successful in reproducing the
experimental data in Pb-Pb collisions\, both for light-quark and heavy-qua
rk hadrons. In particular the detailed comparisons for charmonium lead us
to infer quasi-complete thermalization of charm quarks in QGP and concurre
nt hadronization with the lighter quarks. The large yield measured for the
Λc baryon at the LHC can only be explained in the model by assuming a la
rge number of missing charm-quark baryon resonances.\nFor the beauty quark
s\, the model comparison to data suggests incomplete thermalization\, not
 surprisingly\, given the significantly-heavier b quark.\n\nhttps://events.

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Elena G. Ferreiro (Universidad de Santiago de Compos

rstanding of hadronic collisions has been challenged by the observation of
intriguing effects in high-multiplicity proton-proton and proton-Pb colli
sions\, such as the discovery of correlations and the suppression of quark
onium excited states in those systems. Those phenomena show a smooth conti
nuation of heavy-ion features to small systems and lower density\, whose o
rigin is still not clear. Two serious contenders remain today as possible
explanations\, one based on initial-state correlations and another that re
quires final-state interactions to be at play.\nIn this talk\, I will pres

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Giuseppe Bruno (Dipartimento di fisica - Politecnic
o di Bari and INFN Bari\, Italy)\nThe ALICE collaboration pursues several
upgrades to further extend the reach of heavy-ion physics at the LHC. For
LHC Run 4 (2029-2032)\, ALICE is pioneering the use of bent\, wafer-scale
pixel sensors to produce truly cylindrical tracking layers with very low m
aterial budget to replace the three innermost layers of the inner tracking
system. The resulting improvement in pointing resolution will allow new m
easurements of heavy-flavour hadrons and dielectrons. In addition\, a Forw
ard Calorimeter (FoCal) system combines a high-granularity electromagnetic
silicon-tungsten calorimeter with excellent two-shower separation for neu
tral pion reconstruction with a conventional hadronic calorimeter for phot
on isolation. Direct photon measurements with FoCal will provide unique co
nstraints on the low-x gluon structure of protons and nuclei via forward m
easurements of direct photons.\nFurthermore “ALICE 3” is proposed as t
he next-generation experiment for LHC Run5 and beyond to address unresolve
d questions about the quark-gluon plasma by precise measurements of heavy-
flavour probes as well as electromagnetic radiation in heavy-ion collision
 s. In order to achieve the best possible pointing resolution a concept for
the installation of a high-resolution vertex tracker in the beampipe is b
eing developed. It is surrounded by a silicon-pixel tracker covering rough
ly 8 units of pseudorapidity. To achieve the required particle identificat
 ion performance\, a combination of a time-of-flight system and a Ring-Imag
ing Cherenkov detector is foreseen. Further detectors\, such as an electro
magnetic calorimeter\, a muon identifier\, and a dedicated forward detecto
 r for ultra-soft photons\, are being studied. \nIn this presentation\, I w
ill outline the detector concept as guided by the desired physics reach.\n

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Baochi Fu (Peking University\, China)\nThe spin Hal
l effect (SHE) is a generation of spin polarization for moving spin carrie

semiconductors\, metals\, and insulators at or below room temperature. Rec
ent theoretical analyses show that spin Hall current can be induced by the
baryon chemical potential gradient which plays the role of the analogous
electric field and which becomes sizable in the fireballs created in heavy
-ion collisions at beam energy of O(10) GeV. In this talk\, we focus on th

D viscous hydrodynamic model MUSIC with AMPT initial condition. We propose
to use the second Fourier coefficients of the net spin polarization of La

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Jakub Cimerman (Matej Bel University)\nThe hydrodyna
mic modelling of heavy-ion collisions at energies from few to tens of GeV
per NN pair brings new challenges as compared to simulations at top RHIC o
r LHC energies. The contraction of the incoming nuclei is much weaker resu
 lting in a long inter-penetration phase and a more complex initial-state g
eometry. Conventional hydrodynamic models\, where the fluid phase starts a
t a fixed proper time τ0\, therefore miss the compression stage of collis
ion and may be therefore less sensitive to the EoS of the medium. Multi-fl

\nWe investigate the fluctuations of the net-baryon number density in dens
e hadronic matter. Chiral dynamics is modeled via the parity doublet Lagra
ngian\, and the mean-field approximation is employed to account for chiral
criticality. We focus on the qualitative properties and systematics of th
e second-order susceptibility of the net-baryon number density for individ
ual positive- and negative-parity nucleons whose masses become degenerate
at the chiral restoration. It is shown that the second-order susceptibilit
y of the positive-parity state can become negative when the chiral symmetr
y is restored\, as a natural consequence of the unique relationship of the
mass to the order parameter. Moreover\, we find that such negative fluctu
ations are indicative of approaching the critical point on the chiral phas

pically\, the bulk properties of Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) are studied usin
g the low-pt data. However\, the high-pt probes can also serve as powerful
tomography tools\, since they are sensitive to global QGP features\, such
as different temperature profiles or initial conditions. In this study\,
we try to determine if it is possible to constrain the η/s of the medium
formed in the heavy-ion collisions using the high-pt data/theory. We assum

A and flow coefficients v2\, v3\, and v4. Our results demonstrate that the
high-pt data can not distinguish between different (η/s)(T) assumptions
when the evolution is constrained to reproduce the low-pt data. As a secon
d approach\, we utilize our dynamical energy loss model to compute the que

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Boris Tomášik (Czech Technical University\, Czech

s results from the anisotropy of the initial conditions. A more detailed p
icture is in principle provided by correlations of the flow coefficients i
n various kinematic regions. This includes the decorrelation of flow aniso
tropy in rapidity\, the correlation of the anisotropy with mean pt\, or th

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Jean-Yves Ollitrault (IPhT Saclay)\nThe ATLAS collab
oration has analyzed event-to-event fluctuations of the transverse momentu
m per particle as a function of the particle multiplicity. In the most cen
tral collisions\, the variance of fluctuations decreases steeply. I show t
hat this can be explained simply\, provided that one takes into account tw
o combined effects: First\, for a fixed collision multiplicity\, the impac
t parameter spans a range of values. Second\, still for fixed multiplicity
\, the momentum per particle increases as a function of impact parameter.
Based on this analysis\, I derive accurate predictions for the increase of
the mean transverse momentum in ultracentral collisions\, which is yet un
 observed.\n\nhttps://events.saifa.rs/event/554/contributions/369/

st-principle calculations\, an approach via phenomenological models is ind
ispensable to scrutinize the QGP properties through experimental data. We
have developed a Monte Carlo event generator based on the hydrodynamic pic

In this talk\, I emphasize the importance of a phenomenological model that

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Stefan Stojku ()\nIn this talk\, we will discuss how
high-pt data can be used to constrain tau0\, the onset time of energy los
s and fluid-dynamical evolution\, an important parameter of our descriptio
n the evolution of QGP created in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. We fi
rst consider a scenario without pre-equilibrium evolution\, and demonstrat
e that high-pt data clearly prefers later tau0. Then\, we consider several
more sophisticated scenarios with pre-equilibrium evolution and show that
high-pt RAA and v2 are sensitive to different initializations and early e
xpansion dynamics and that they prefer later onset of energy loss and tran
sverse expansion.\nMoreover\, we consider the spatial anisotropy of the QG
P\, as it is one of the main properties of this system. We propose a novel
method to extract the spatial anisotropy from high pt data. Based on nume
rical calculations and comparisons with experimental data\, we show that a
modified ratio of v2 and RAA reaches a well-defined saturation value\, wh
ich is directly proportional to the time-averaged anisotropy of the evolvi
ng QGP. We relate this ratio to a new observable\, which we call jet-perce
ived anisotropy\, and we argue that it can provide constraints on bulk-med

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Tetsufumi Hirano (Sophia University\, Japan)\nWe dis
cuss two topics in hydrodynamic description of QGP fluids in high-energy n
uclear collisions. We first constrain the initial conditions in the Bjorke
n expansion model by considering causality. When the system is far away fr
om local equilibrium\, the relativistic hydrodynamic equations tend to vio
late the causality. Within the conformal fluids in one-dimensionally expan
ding system\, we find initial conditions are largely constrained due to ca
usality conditions. This sheds a light on importance of core-corona initia
lization in high-energy nuclear collisions. We next discuss thermal fluctu
ations during hydrodynamic evolution (a.k.a. hydrodynamic fluctuations) in
the Bjorken expansion model. We take account of the second order terms\,
which are required from causality\, in linear perturbation of Bjorken's eq
uations and analyze correlation functions of energy density in the longitu
dinal direction. We find a typical behavior of correlation functions which
reflect transport properties of the QGP. We also argue generalized consti
tutive equations from a viewpoint of hydrodynamic fluctuations.\n\nhttps:/

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Bojana Ilic (Institute of Physics Belgrade\, Serbia)
\nHistorically\, high-pT radiative energy loss is calculated under the ass
umptions of the optically thin or optically thick medium within pQCD. Thes
e are two limiting (and opposite) approximations\, corresponding to a jet
experiencing only one or an infinite number of scatterings with medium con
stituents\, respectively. However\, in general\, QGP created at the RHIC a
nd the LHC is estimated to have 4-5 scattering centers\, indicating the in
adequacy of such approximations. Theoretical efforts to relax these approx
imations are still inconclusive\, and lack verification against experiment
al data.\nTo address these issues\, we generalize our dynamical energy los
s and DGLV formalisms toward finite orders in opacity\, providing explicit
analytical expressions up to the 4th order. These complex expressions\, w
hich are highly oscillatory\, are obtained for the first time to our knowl
edge. Further\, we implement them into an adequately generalized DREENA fr
amework to assess the effects of higher orders in opacity on a comprehensi
ve set of high-pT observables. Analytical and numerical results\, as well
as the interpretation of nonintuitive observations\, are provided.\n\nhttp

DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Andrey Sadofyev (IGFAE)\nOver the last decades\, the
theoretical picture of how hadronic jets interact with nuclear matter has
been extended to account for the medium’s finite longitudinal length an
 d expansion. However\, only recently a first-principle approach has been d
eveloped that allows to couple the jet evolution to the medium flow and an
isotropic structure in the dilute limit. In this talk\, I will show how to
extend this approach to the dense regime\, where the resummation of multi
ple in-medium scatterings is necessary. Particularly\, I will consider the
modifications of the single particle momentum broadening distribution and
single gluon production rate in evolving matter. The resummation is perfo
rmed by either computing the opacity series or starting from the all order

new physics searches at colliders. They are also extensively studied in u

quark gluon plasma (QGP) that is created in the aftermath of the collision

measurement of large transverse momentum (high-pT) hadrons and jets. Suppr
